Braushlyon Richardson, 24, has been charged with murder in an Odessa, Texas mall parking lot shooting that left one dead and two injured

He was booked into an Ector County jail, and an official there said an attorney had not yet been listed for him.

Police say no other suspects are being sought.

Officers were heading to the Music City Mall early Saturday after receiving reports about people refusing to the 10 Sports Bar & Grill, located inside the mall.

Then, several 911 calls came in about shots being fired in the mall parking lot.

When they arrived they found several injured.

Police say 23-year-old shooting victim Pablo Jimenez died at a hospital.

Two additional victims,?19-year-old Jovanie Bernal and 21-year-old Jesus Garcia, were shot in the incident.

A third person was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.

'In light of the recent tragic events that occurred in the mall parking lot, we at 10 Sports Bar & Grill first and foremost offer our deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families,' according to a statement from 10 Sports Bar & Grill.

With this in mind, we strongly urge both our faithful and future patrons to rest assured that 10 Sports Bar & Grill will remain a safe and quality establishment. We also would like to send a heartfelt thank you to our local police department for their diligent work,' the statement added.

The manager of 10 Sports Bar and Grill, Alex Nguyen, told the local paper, the Odessa American, police usually provide security on Friday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

He described Friday's ambiance as particularly rough and said two fights broke out in the course of the evening.

Rough night: The manager of the 10 Sports Bar & Grill said the mood in the bar Friday, before the deadly shooting, was particularly rough

'We usually have OPD here but they didn?t show up,' Nguyen said. 'They told me that they were short-handed, and they weren?t going to be able to come in last night.'

Sgt. Robert Carruth said that is 'something we?re still looking at: Why wasn?t there somebody there or was there somebody there that was scheduled and didn?t show up?'

At about 9:30 p.m., the manager requested police presence and an officer arrived by about 9:45 p.m. and stayed about 10 minutes to do a walk through, which? Nguyen said helped calm the crowd.

'The guys noticed there wasn?t a cop at the door so that?s why they behaved the way they behaved,' he said.

But when police left, the crowd became even wilder, Nguyen said, so he called police two more times, once at about midnight and finally at 1:30 a.m.

Nguyen said he was escorting someone out with one of his bouncers and mall security guard when the shots rang out, 23 minutes after a police officer left the scene.
